The businessman and former president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber launched the book “Brasil e mundo árabe: Negócios, marketing e diplomacia econômica ampliada” [Brazil and the Arab World: Business, Marketing, and Expanded Economic Diplomacy] on Tuesday (11) in São Paulo with around 400 attendees. Former Brazilian President Michel Temer participated. The future of the relations between the two peoples was discussed.

Students from the istration course at Uemasul visited the headquarters of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo on Friday (22), where they attended lectures and had the opportunity to ask questions about the Arab countries and their relations with Brazil.

Brazil’s president officially launched the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty this Monday (18) during the G20 Summit. Arab signatory nations include Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, and Tunisia.

The Brazilian industry could benefit from ongoing investments in the region. During a seminar held by the Think Plastic Brazil program, Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce head of International Consulting Karen Mizuta discussed opportunities for Brazilian businesses.

Undergraduate students of International Relations at the Mauá Institute of Technology visited the Arab Chamber this Wednesday (3) and attended a presentation from president Osmar Chohfi on Arab countries. Some said they’re inclined to seek out professional opportunities in connection with the region.
